A CHANGE TO THE BANNED SUBSTANCE LIST

Effective Immediately:

There has been a revision in the INBF/WNBF Banned Substances Policy regarding the use of prescription diuretics. The policy formerly banned the use of prescription diuretics for a period of seven years prior to INBF/WNBF competition. Since this type of banned substance provides only a temporary benefit immediately prior to competition, the INBF/WNBF Executive Committee is revising this policy to exclude the use of prescription diuretics for a period of three months prior to INBF/WNBF competition.
